Image from video portrait sequence of 27 secondary school teachers trying not to laugh. Made as a response to advice given to newly qualified teachers not to smile for a month. This video was projected (4 x 5m in the school hall) as part of a promenade installation event at George Salter High School in 2003.
ENTRY: Critical pedagogy action research in West Bromwich. Series of site-specific installations leading to the further commission of six artists over a year long period at George Salter High School. Research publication and catalogue and symposium paper.
