| Description: | Curator of this exhibition, in the form of a conversation between two sites of the future Olympics, Stratford and Weymouth. Julie Penfold curated the first part of exhibition as part of the B-side Festival in Dorset in September 2010. I curated the creation of a wall piece on the foyer wall of Homerton Library in Hackney in December 2010 that is now on permanent display as a legacy of Sound Proof. Artists in the exhibition: Claire Burke, Sheena Calvert, Denna Jones, and Joe Stevens. Exhibition multiple: newspaper format in an edition of 50. Hackney Museum is now repository of all Sound Proof exhibition multiples and Hackney Museum and Culture Service, Hackney Council supports the exhibition series. |
