Co-curator, with Marta Kuzma and Peter Osborne, of Norway's official representation at the 54th Venice Biennale, consisting of two different programmes:

1. Beyond Death, a programme at Università Iuav di Venezia, led by Bjarne Melgaard
2. The State of Things, a programme of lectures at Istituto Veneto di Sienze, Lettere ed Arti, Iuav, Ca Foscari and other venues, from June to November 2011. Including participants Jacques Rancière, Judith Butler, TJ Clark, Eyal Weizman, Saskia Sassen, Franco Berardi, Leo Bersani, Vandana Shiva, Jan Egeland and Fawaz A. Gerges
