Landguard Shoot

Site-specific commission, performance and residency at Landguard Fort, Felixstowe, forming part of Fleet: Art In The Haven Ports. Fleet was part of Face 2 Face art programme taking place in Nord-Pas de Calais (France) and Kent, Essex and Suffolk (UK). The Uk exhibitions and events were led by Gavin Turk and developed by Commissions East. The comission involved a months residency and exhibition.' Landguard Shoot' project invited all visitors to the fort to consider their visit to a heritage site that had previously facilited combat. The work positioned itself within the practices of exhibition display and historical dissemination using audio guide, marker systems, memorabilia and photographic documentation.
