Disruption

LCF, Widening Participation, invited Fernandes to mentor school pupils from East London in fashion styling and photography workshops in Autumn 2010. As a Creative Director, Gavin formulated the final outfits the pupils had styled into a selection of fashion photographs and fashion film, with in-kind participation from M&P and Oxygen model agencies, and boots supplied by Dr Martens. The fashion film and photographs were screened throughout an evening event titled Disruption in the Barbican Centre Foyer and Mezzanine at the on Saturday 29th January, 2011. The fashion film and photographs were published on Dazed and Confused magazine web portal, DazedTV.
