| Description: | ‘In Passing’ is part of an ongoing series of works under the umbrella title ‘Shifting Terrains ‘ exploring complex interrelationships in representation of landscape. Previous exhibited works in this series are: ‘Horizon’, ‘Conditions of Visibility’ and ‘Elements’. The research project overall uses moving image and sound to propose understanding landscape as part of an environmental ‘ecology’, a matrix of parts. These parts are understood in terms of production and consumption of energies both organic and technological. ‘In Passing’ specifically explores the relationship between the still and moving image. | ||||||
