The research identifies three generations of Moroccan fashion designers and how they succeeded in adjusting their vestimentary heritage to rapid socio-cultural and economic-political changes in Moroccan society over the last fifty years. The chapter is the development of a paper presented in September 2012 at the 4th Global Fashion Conference at Oxford University.
