Description:

This paper is part of my research project “ A Forest of Signs: Trees and the Urban Imaginary”, a photographic project currently in progress. The paper is a dialogue between modernist tropes of visuality and references to the arboreal employed in Virginia Woolf's writings and my own photographic project which in part, is based in Bloomsbury.
