| Description: | Something Former is a book chapter in the form of a dialogue between Goran Vodicka (Senior Lecturer in Architecture at Sheffield Hallam University) and Vlatka Horvat (Lecturer in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins), in which the two discuss Horvat's works "The Past Is Another Country", "With the Sky on Their Shoulders", "Up in Arms", "After Tito, Tito", and "Who Come to Stand" to consider the role that historical trauma plays in shaping the present by lingering in memory, the body and in material traces. Something Former is a chapter in the book 'Invisible Wounds: Negotiating Post-Traumatic Landscapes', edited by Emily-Rose Baker & Amanda Crawley Jackson and published by The University of Sheffield and Museums Sheffield. |
