Description: | Scenography for Performance. This multi-camera musical performance was live film & theatre hybrid exploring the boundaries between live performance and live cinema. The scenography was developed as a hybrid form between theatre design and design for film expanding my research into multi-platformed performances that exist between different performance platforms 'Antratsyt: Perseverance Day' was a British-Ukrainian musical documentary performance, representing the real lives and stories of Donbas mining communities. This production was the first public presentation of a 3-year project 'House of mining' by Donbas-born theatre director, Pavlo Yurov & British documentary filmmaker and visual artist, Vicki Thornton, who have been collaborating on documentary material from Donbas. |
