Listening to the Footprints of Sonic Practice.

This hybrid practice and theory lecture takes the word “footprint” as a catalyst to trace relations between listening, sound recording and ecology.

I consider how one moves in the field as well as the traces and impacts we leave as artists and researchers, and how media and technology also bring an environmental footprint of their own through their relationship to natural resources.
