| Description: | A fashion exhibition at London's V&A museum that through more than 85 outfits, showcased the new bold, exciting and innovative looks that have come to typify the 1980s. For the first time the work of experimental young designers made their influence felt at every level of the fashion industry captured in this show. The influence of streetwear and clubland has been unpicked and organised into themes to chart their covergence with designer fashion of the decade. The exhibition featured 3 items designed by Darla Gilroy in 1984 and had attendance figure of 75,650. |
