Narrativising technologically mediated environments; carnivalesque narrative environments and performative methods that scaffold children's agency as technologists, artists and musicians

This lecture is part of the MTF Sparks in Rijeca symposium. Thus is s unique STEAM education events for young people that Music Tech Festival has developed over the past ten years. This one was held at CTK Rijeka as part of their EU-funded project 'STEM(AJMO!)'.

My role was to inspire and train a group of teachers from across Croatia with methods of running a Makeathon in a fun, educational and collaborative way.

The teachers we trained and delivered lectures to, subsequently worked with fifty students aged 12-14. The event took place over 3 days with a final showcase as part of a big, public-facing STEM Piknik, and the participating students joined teams and worked on technology briefs that addressed the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
