Wooden buildings in Korea, China and Japan designed auxiliary materials on the pillars to support the weight of the eaves. Artist Minji Seo expressed the shape and beauty of Kyungbokgung’s eaves using a five-layer coat collar and multi-coloured textiles on the back of the collar.
