It examines the benefits and problems of being a research administrator who is also actively involved in research. Having personal experience of tasks like writing grant applications, submitting metadata to internal systems, and dealing with open access requirements enables the Administrator-who-is-also-a-Researcher to see issues from both sides, providing insight to administrative colleagues while also being able to help other researchers navigate through University processes, and understand why they're there. The poster covers these and other issues in a comic strip format written and drawn by the presenter. |
