Carrier Bag Climate: Storytelling Tools for Textile Futures

Carrier Bag Climate: Storytelling Tools for Textile Futures is a collaborative project between researchers from the University of the Arts London, Tereza Ruller of The Rodina, and the Tilburg TextielLab exploring how eco-feminist storytelling can inspire more responsible and sustainable textile design practices in response to the climate emergency. Through a workshop for specialist textile and material designers, participants used feminist storytelling strategies and prompt-based activities to develop experimental textile tools that encourage critical awareness of social and ecological issues.
