The book: For 20 years, Doris Uhlich has worked internationally as a choreographer. She incorporates social themes and challenges such as nudity, aging, and disability into her performances. In this chronology of her most important artistic works, colleagues, academics, journalists, and collaborators share their perspectives. The book thus reveals the multifaceted nature of Doris Uhlich's choreographic, dance, and pedagogical work: her engagement with classical ballet and the social contexts of plurality and touch, the inclusion of non-professional dancers, and her international workshop activities, which can be considered a form of collective research. Adam Czirak is a theater scholar and dramaturge. Doris Uhlich is an internationally active dancer, performer, and choreographer from Austria.
