| Description: | Contribution to the group exhibition Their Floating Attention, curated by TC McCormack. Two near-identical 1:1-scale scans of the surface of a garden pond, separated by about four hours. Each image is derived from a series of seven twelve-minute passes of a video camera across the surface, with each frame of video contributing a single line of pixels. In the left image, a newt is just visible near the top right corner. In the right image, two dragonfly skins float on the surface. |
