| Description: | Cut is an experimental film by artist and research lead at the Royal College of Art, Rachel Garfield. It represents the last 150 years of handcraft tailoring culture in London through interviews with tailors and historians, footage of workrooms, trade ephemera, extant garments and drawings by Garfield. The work was researched with help from tailoring lecturer, Joshua Dobrik, exhibited at the Whitechapel Gallery's 2026 Backyard Biennial, and accompanied by an article in The Tailor and Cutter (2026).
