Rise and Fall of a Temple at Chelsea Library

This display case extends Rise and Fall of a Temple, the current exhibition by artist Eva Sajovic at Chelsea Space, Chelsea College of Arts, UAL.

It offers a further view into Sajovic’s practice through costumes, tapestries, embroidery, ceramics and drawings.

The objects shown here act as props, activators and tools to support the artist’s interventions, and to help develop and define the ideas during research.

The headpieces and trousers on display were later worn by participants in the public participatory performance 'What Temple Do We Want?', taking place on Friday 15 May, 6.00-8.00pm, at Chelsea Parade Ground.
