| Description: | Professoriate Platform Lecture by Professor of Possible Film, Andrea Luka Zimmerman Introduced by Helen Brooks A presentation of extracts from Professor Dr Andrea Zimmerman's recent films (While the Gods Were Busy with Another Child, here and not here, Wayfaring Stranger and earlier titles), positions these works as Intuitive Cinema, a form of Possible Film, which seeks a poetics for the politics of now. This Professorial Platform event asks what it means to be fully attentive, and how to make work ‘in relation’, to seek the ‘with’ (not about); and, crucially, without (un)considering the structural, social and political contexts from and into which the work emerges. |
