| Description: | ccc and co_former are two browser-based software tools for transforming 3D models, updated and released in 2026 from applications originally developed to create the 3D-print files for the Digital Natives series. co_former reshapes imported 3D geometry through parameterised transformations, while ccc applies generative colour processes to 3D models. The original versions were written in Processing and were used to produce the Digital Natives sculptures from 2012 onwards, combining photogrammetry, computational transformation and colour 3D printing. In 2026 the tools were rebuilt as browser-based applications, making the original research methods accessible through contemporary web technologies. The updated versions allow users to import, manipulate and export GLB/GLTF files as well as STL and VRML files. The software is being released openly, allowing the methods developed through the original artwork to be reused, taught and extended. The tools are available at https://www.plummerfernandez.com/works/digital-natives/tools/ and the software repository is available at https://github.com/plummerfernandez/digital-natives |
