| Description: | Three 1 x 3 meter wall hangings demonstrating the opportunities of working with fabric waste in a design for disassembly system along bio-based, local, and circular principles. Showroom sample square waste was collected from Camira Fabrics. One hanging shows how bio-based components (cellulose paper) can act as connectors for coloured squares. Another exemplifies modularity for circularity through upgradability and repair. Another uses locally relevant print to make a patchwork or patterns. |
