Super 16mm film made up of a series of vertical aerials shots of Middle eastern landscapes ranging from the ancient to the contemporary. Shadow Sites I is part of a new body of photographic and moving image work The Aesthetics of Disappearance: A Land Without People which explores the disappearance of the body in the contested and highly charged landscapes of the Middle East.
