A presentation to the 2010 March Meeting about the development of a new collection of film and photographic works exploring the disappearance of the body by examining what happens to the evidence of atrocity and genocide and the way it affects our understanding of the often beautiful landscapes into which the bodies of victims disappear.
Launched in 2008 by the Sharjah Art Foundation, the March Meeting was conceived as a forum to encourage art professionals and institutions across the MENASA region to connect, to share ideas and expertise, to network and possibly to collaborate on future projects in the region and beyond.
