UAL Research Online is the university's online collection of its research outputs.

Your work in Research Online is easy to find and use and is downloaded by interested users and scholars all over the world; by people who would not otherwise have access to your work, or even know it exists.

Research Online fulfils the Open Access requirements that are expected of scholarly authors, for the REF and for many grant holders.

Tell us about your publicly available research:

• Exhibitions, films, sculpture, design, conference papers
• Articles, chapters and books
• Other creative work, that is scholarly research

Attach some research content:

• Still images, moving images, text files, sound files or any other format your research may take.

Don’t enter details about research activity, publicity, announcements, activity in support of research outputs, teaching material, and non-academic public events.

Elements may be suitable for recording these.

Research activity includes:

• Receiving an award, grant or prize
• Holding a residency
• Editing a journal
• Organising a conference or event
• Being mentioned in a publication by you did not write
