Artist John Bently commissioned Kathryn Round to produce garments for his Liver & Lights exhibition at Brixton East 1871.

About 'Liver & Lights':

"Is John Bently’s ongoing off beat hand made chronicle of our extraordinary lives and times, being 54 Volumes in 32 years; a lifelong celebration of London, her people, their stories and the art of The Book.

For four days only, an amazing exhibition at Brixton East celebrating the books themselves and in particular their regular transformation from page to performance featuring the music and primal rock theatrics of the Liver & Lights performance incarnation Bones & The Aft and including stage sets, backdrops, props, costumes, hand made musical instruments, beloved motor vehicles, posters and publications.

The exhibition will culminate in a mini festival of music and theatricals featuring Bones & the Aft and special guests Hester and Wilde."
