| Description: | This paper compares a number of texts published since 2007 that deal with two problems always posited as distinct. The first concerns a crisis in the labour conditions of art workers, the second a crisis in art criticism. By reading these two sets of texts in relation to each other some blind spots in both can be revealed. The case is made that only by understanding them as intimately related problems can critique the work of critique be effectively carried out. |
