| Description: | Cabinet Stories was devised and produced by Alison Moloney in collaboration with Jessamine Tierney from the Social Responsibility team at LCF. Cabinet Stories is a touring exhibition which takes displays on fashion and dress to audiences who have limited access to the arts. Cabinet Stories toured to HMP Holloway, East London NHS Foundation Trust, Anchor Silk Court and then opened to the public in an Emmaus charity shop in East London. There were seven curators - from UAL, the V&A and the Fan Museum - each curated a display to shown in the cabinet for one week at each venue. The audience also had an display inside the Cabinet through the project Our Cabinet Story where participants were invited to reflect on the significance of an item of clothing which was photographed and placed in the Cabinet. |
