This report is the result of a RAS research programme. The RAS (Retain, Achieve, Succeed) research programme aims to make useful recommendations in order to support real and long term institutional change.

The overall context for this on-going programme is action research projects interrogating existing curriculum structures, with the aim of affecting change in the institution via the staff body.
