Two Figures in a Landscape

Mixed Media sculpture installation in collaboration with Tim Noble and Sue Webster for Maurizio Cattelan's Wrong Gallery.

The work features a reproduced series of the 'Selfish Cunt' prints from Anne McCloy's ongoing print design series produced under the name SomeProduct MM, tagged and dated. As part of Anne McCloy's notable collaborations within the music scene, and the East London underground, the original prints were inspired by the band Selfish Cunt and feature the lead singer Martin Tomlinson. The artwork was produced and sold as t-shirts and other merchandise internationally.

Part of this series of artworks explored notions of gender and the acceptability of swear words in print. The band's name caused controversy. Nevertheless, the t-shirt appeared in the pages of Italian Vogue and Kate Moss was photographed wearing it in 2013.
