Beyond the Institution. Producing Knowledge and Training Artists between Museums and Universities

Invited paper presentation and subsequent workshop with participants. Organised by the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (MNCARS) in Madrid and the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).
The aim was to examine the ways in which museums and art schools participate on the education of artists and what possible strategies might be deployed in order to remake both these institutions in ways that both resist and go beyond their current neoliberal transformations.
