This is a textile artefact selected for and exhibited at the 17th International Mini-Textile exhibition, 'Memory of Textile' in Bratislava, Slovakia, 3.06 to 21.06.2015 in the gallery SVU, Dostojevského rad 2, SK – 811 09 Bratislava, and travelling to gallery SVU Manes Diamond, Spalena 4, Prague 1, 1.7 to 24.07.2015. The theme of the exhibition is ‘Memory of Textile’, with a juried selection, and work was exhibited under the theme 'Knowing How". The curator of the exhibition was the textile artist Silvia Fedorova, and the exhibition was organised by the Slovak Textile Artists Association TxT. |

| Additional Information (Publicly available): | The exhibition organisers state 'Textile is such a common part of life that its exceptional values are often overlooked. Its close body contact gives it emotional power. And in addition to may other properties, it has the ability to record stories from the past – personal, intimate but also collective. The historical memory of textile, as well as the private one, tell of past values, skills, relationship to the world and shift the legacy of its content towards the future.' |
