Description: | As selection of pieces from the body of work 'Monuments' was presented as part of the group exhibition 'Wild Things'. WILD THINGS is an exhibition curated by Lidewij Edelkoort (NL) and Philip Fimmano (AU), which took place in the Treasury Room at the Texture Museum. This contemporary design selection investigates how objects of the future seek to incorporate an energy or life force, defining a new era of design with soul. The project 'Monuments' by artist and designer Ben Branagan, transformed the pulped remains of unwanted and abandoned books into an eclectic series of handmade and distinctly non functional pots and vases. |
