| Description: | A peer-reviewed paper acepted at the 2-day AHRC network event: Letterpress: past, present and future. This paper argued that in challenging the existing trade orthodoxies a series of educational pioneers used letterpress to establish an alternative model for the typographic training of a designer, and that this model quite considerably predates current exemplars of post-digital hands-on learning. |
