Description: | Arts Work of the Future exhibition and event with the Digital maker Collective A week long exhibition with associated events at Tate Exchange 6th to 11th March 2018, which engaged a massive 3981 public visitors including 2200 public visitors over the weekend. Visitors to the exhibition were invited to get hands on with the various installations, exploring the role of technology in the arts and to question and re-think its impact in our lives Visitors were invited to reimagine the role of the arts in an age of rapid technological change and explore how, through the arts, we can move beyond everyday consumption and technology as a spectacle. The exhibition challenged the mainstream, said the unsaid and addressed inclusion, integration and the production of technology in our lives, society, work, education – and in the arts. |
