Learn to Use a Gun

This is letterpress printed poster design specifically for the Green Week exhibition at LCC in 2014. The show had contributions form students and staff in response to the theme of sustainability and consumption. Tim Hutchinson and Alex Cooper produced a piece based on the play and book, '10 Billion', by Professor Stephen Emmett. The main text of the work is a typographic interpretation of the last line form the play/book where Emmott leaves the observer with a simultaneous question, statement and provocation regarding our future roles on a planet in descent. Cooper + Hutchinson created a textural print that aims to add an element of tension to the language of the writer.
