A video of an online talk between gallerist Sid Motion and lecturer Mick Finch on the economic pressures facing young artists and galleries talk took place on 9th July 2020. The CSM/MF Credit project has one root in a conversation between gallerist Sid Motion and lecturer Mick Finch which began in 2018. This was about a crisis for young artists and galleries, in general, because of the collapse of a ‘middle-ground’ in the art world. This led to an idea to mount an event to address this crisis which did not take place, but the conversation itself displaced into the ethos of ‘Credit’.
