Description:

For Diversity United, a major pan-European exhibition Lucy + Jorge Orta have been commissioned to create the sixth edition of Antarctica World Passport (ed. 15,000). The passport, in English, German, French and Russian will be distributed in a new discursive-installation of the Antarctica project (Antarctica World Passport Office and Antarctic Village).

Diversity United showcases the diversity of contemporary European art after the fall of the Iron Curtain and emphasises the importance of intercultural dialogue today. The exhibition features 86 European artists working across the genres of painting, sculpture, video and new media, photography, installation and drawing, the exhibition seeks to portray historically significant and relevant topics, including political and personal identity, migration, gender and equality issues, nationality and territory, geopolitics and social conflict.
