Testing Times

Contribution to 'Design Action', School of Design, London College of Communication for London Design Festival 2020.

A temporary reflection on the language and health messages around the subject of 'testing' – comparing HIV with the COVID-19 coronavirus. Hosted by Siân Cook’s online archive of UK HIV/AIDS graphic ephemera. Two viruses, different times, some similar challenges, but with an opportunity for testing to break patterns of infection for both.

A limited edition of letterpress postcard designs, originally created in November 2019, on the theme of 'HIV Testing' for the New York Visual AIDS fundraiser, Postcards from the Edge. The printed postcards were made available in return for donations to an HIV charity. (All card sets were 'sold').
