| Description: | STATE OF PLAY was a research residency commissioned by the South London Gallery to establish creative dialogues with the inhabitants of the Sceaux Gardens housing estate in Peckham. Work culminated in an exhibition and video installation in an unused flat on the estate, with corresponding workshop activities. This early R&D on Sceaux Gardens estate was the foundations for a larger funded programme of artist residencies that led to the publication: The Cat Came as Tomato, ISBN 978–1–898461–39–5 |
