Description:	The current paper challenges traditional citizen diplomacy conceptualisations, by pointing out the lack of focus on the role of “transnational ethnopreneurs” (Cheng Lee, 2020) on building interventional facilitation of unofficial initiatives. We will focus on the way that individual citizens, members of diasporic communities, intervene and mediate relationships between diasporic community in the host society and the institutions representing their country of origin.
