Description: | A Theatre of Truth is a documentary on the exiled Iranian playwright and novelist Ghazi Rabihavi. Ghazi has produced some of the most innovative and critical short stories, novels and plays since the Iranian revolution. His work is deeply rooted in humanist traditions, subverting notions of nationalism, war and power, while exploring more subtle human dilemmas and situations that effect people in any country. The film explored his art, while also exploring his collaboration with Harold Pinter, who produced one of Ghazi’s plays, “Look Europe!”. Commissioned and broadcast by the BBC World Service. |
