| Description: | STATIC invites you into an uncanny domestic and dream-state environment, explored on a VR headset or your mobile phone. Navigating each 360 scene, you witness a character’s confined life as she seeks to cope with her situation. STATIC is an intense audio-visual experience that plays with your sense of scale and agency, the frustrations of communication, the comforts of routine and the challenges of change. 360 video, made by Cole & Joslin during 2020, funded by Arts Council England Lottery Project Grant and A-N Artists Bursary. The video can be watched on a VR headset or mobile and explores ideas previously developed with Kent domestic abuse charity Joining Hands Joining Hearts. |
