Flowers

Developed with the Botanical Garden of the University of Coimbra Experimental Cultures, in the House of the Daffodils. On Monday, September 24 2018, at 6 pm, the performance of Lara Torres, with the collaboration of performer Sónia Baptista is a reflection on plants and their relationship to clothing, this fundamental shelter of the body, but also on the temporary nature of the plant elements that attract us most - flowers. Flowers are here presented in their relation to garments as source of colour and pattern but also illustrating our dependency of nature’s resources.
