Stringer (bone behaviour)

Since early 2020 I’ve been making a work called ‘Stringer’. It’s an application which produces a unique, temporary, floating digital string sculpture in response to a user’s spoken statement. Still in development, occasionally Stringer acts in unpredictable ways, generating strange objects and behaviours. ‘Stringer (bone behaviour)’ is looped documentation of one such instance, where the ‘bones’ that make up the armature of the sculpture implode, in perpetuity.
