Masuray

Masuray es una obra realizada durante una residencia en el CMMAS durante el mes de julio de 2021, gracias al apoyo de los incentivos COMUNA de la Universidad de las Artes.

Durante la residencia se completará el desarrollo de instrumentos virtuales de objetos sonoros ancestrales grabados en las reservas arqueológicas del Ecuador. Así mismo, realizó una obra inmersiva en torno a la musicalidad de estos instrumentos virtuales, mediante la realización de una interfaz de ejecución a tiempo real.

Masuray is a work carried out during a residence at CMMAS during the month of July 2021, thanks to the support of the COMUNA incentives of the University of the Arts.

During the residence, the development of virtual instruments of ancestral sound objects recorded in the archaeological reserves of Ecuador will be completed. Likewise, he made an immersive work around the musicality of these virtual instruments, through the creation of a real-time execution interface.

Concert was given at Visiones Sonoras 17, organised by CMMAS (Mexico).

Piece composed for COMUNA, the International Artistic Residences and Stays Program of the Universidad de las Artes, created to encourage international mobility of the university community and the exchange of experiences between artists from various latitudes.
