| Description: | This case study presents a communal writing activity offered via Zoom during Lockdown to the Literary Kitchen community. For ten weeks, between 30 March 2020 and 29 May 2020, I invited students and alumni to participate in a 4pm, five-minute daily freewrite, offered as a drop-in activity. Answers to a questionnaire undertaken by fifteen regular participants find that undertaking a trusted practice via a communal online setting proves a unique combination of old and new technologies which encourage and develop a writer's stamina, confidence and flexibility. |
