Description: | A performative presentation of text and video which addresses the issues of power, equality, desire and the construction of identity. The text reads like a litany, a poetic address to the audience, in order to explore demands for satisfaction as both psychic and political in construct. |

Additional Information (Publicly available): | Co-convener (with Maria Walsh and Hayley Newman) of research group at Chelsea: Subjectivity & Feminisms. The group comprises 10 Chelsea staff, 3 Central St Martins staff and 1 research student. Recent work includes the 'Conversing' exhibition, symposium and publication, and a DVD of members work. I co-curated the 'Transmogrifications' exhibition with Dr Maria Walsh and Danielle Arnaud, at the Danielle Arnaud Gallery, London, in March 2004. I am continuing my own practice as an artist, writing papers for conference and curating exhibitions. I am interested in the role of the practitioner/researcher/teacher. |
