Description: | Pavilion is a one-size-fits-all self-guided tour for architectural summer pavilions. The reader is guided through a flowchart that locates the relationship between observer and object into one specific archetype. The process of self-scrutinising works both ways: showing common practices and discourses in temporary architecture, and revealing common assumptions in the reader. The result is a set of humorous descriptions covering the widest possible range of possibilities, even those that don’t fit the definition of summer pavilion. |
